The Dementia Foundation

The Dementia Foundation is proudly governed by a Management Committee made up of experienced professionals who bring expertise in health, governance, finance, and advocacy. As a registered not-for-profit organisation, we do not have shareholders—our Management Committee ensures that every decision is made in the best interests of the community. This team provides strategic leadership, maintains financial accountability, and upholds the quality of our services. All profits are reinvested into programs that directly support individuals and families living with young onset dementia.

Holly Meijer

Deputy Committee Chair, Group Executive Director
Holly leads and governs the NDIS program and other operational functions across the organisation, with a strong focus on financial strategy, governance, and operational oversight. With extensive experience in finance and a commitment to strong financial management, Holly supports the Foundation’s long term sustainability and impact. Holly also contributes to leadership and mentoring, helping to develop future professionals in the field.

Brett Parker

Committee Chair, Group Executive Manager, Strategy and Growth
Brett is responsible for setting the strategy and growth objectives for The Dementia Foundation. He leads the development of new business opportunities and manages the property portfolio. Brett provides external advisory services for special projects, contributing to the Foundation’s long term success and sustainability.

Group Manager, People & Culture
With experience and vast knowledge across industrial relations and organisational culture, Luke plays a pivotal role in staff management and value setting across the organisation.

Jo Stewart

Executive Officer
Jo is the backbone and strength of The Dementia Foundation operations. With a key eye for detail and what can only be described as extrasensory perception, Jo supports the entire organisation in its governance, document control and daily activities.

Lin Koh

Group Accountant
Lin brings a wealth of Australian and international accounting and finance experience to The Dementia Foundation. With a passion for numbers and reporting, Lin offers new insights into the business NDIS finance model.

Jane Chen

Accountant
With a dynamic experience across aged care and disability services, Jane is a professional accountant with an eye for detail and compliance with extensive experience in reconciliations taking pride in finding any discrepancies.

Group Manager Service Operations
Rohan is an inspiring leader and works tirelessly to provide the strategic direction for innovative and purpose driven services across his portfolio. Rohan brings a broad set of skills focused in neurodivergent disability and direct dementia supports and offers his teams ongoing development to enhance the broader service delivery at The Dementia Foundation.

Caoimhe brings a broad experience from Ireland and has specialist skills in behaviour supports and complex case management. With a dedicated approach to person centred practice, Caoimhe works with stakeholders and her team to ensure the correct strategies and supports are designed and implemented in a timely manner.

With a special interest in dementia studies and the journey that follows, James has a special talent for connection and understanding. With a naturally curious mindset, James is looking for the right solution ensuring services and strategies are truly unique to each person and their family. Thinking outside the box, James focuses on applying collective ideas and resources to achieve what can often be impossible for so many.

Client Experience Officer
Jo is our dedicated Client Experience Officer, specialising in person-centred, community-based activities. She coordinates initiatives like the Men’s Friendship Group and Gathering Ground coffee meetups. Jo implements person centred dementia-friendly programs to ensure all activities are inclusive, stimulating, and supportive for those living with cognitive challenges.
